Project Brief
Mikro is a UI and Service Design aimed for urban commuters living in metropolitan areas like Downtown LA.
Discovering the priority user needs of seeking a safe and up-to-date scooter ride, Mikro is designed in combination of HMI and eHMI technologies, to create a service system for shared electric scooters with flexibility of choice and trip upon reliability.

Background Research
Inspirations came from my own experience commuting to my workplace located in Downtown LA during summer of 2022. In the crowded metropolitan areas, I used to get caught in potential lateness, and feel helpless sitting inside vehicles stuck on the road.
Noticing that some of my colleagues have switched to scooters due to its flexibility in traffic jams, I realize that many design opportunities exist in shared scooter service systems for urban commuters.
