Ideation Process
Sketch and concept refinement process
Starting in the upper left corner are ideas for how the product can be separated and stored in an efficient manner. These iterations covered methods including modular cooking tools, a drawer type system for storage, to eventualy integrating a more simple tool pouch with a storage.
This section is some iterations inspired by nature-related sustainability strategy, such as the honeycomb pattern in beehives and how hexagons fit together well. Down the line, lotus leaf-based coatings and its specifc texture/textile were found to benefit the cleaning process greatly.
The commercialization of food-safe grade coatings is currently approved by the FDA for kitchen surface usage; these sustainable coatings could be possibilities of making glassware in the near future.
